#3 page 244-The Most Dangerous Game

The narrator really seems to emphasize on the story having the theme of "darkness".  He has darkness a lot through out the story.  In the beginning, they are on the cruise ship and looking out into the darkness where the island appears to be.  Then when he falls off of the ship he is in the dark swimming towards the dark.  Also, whenever Zaroff hunts the people he has in his so called game it has to be night time and dark when he does it. The story seems to just keep going on from the start of the story when they talk about the darnkness.
